Spark Fireworks is fast becoming Tasmania’s trusted source for spectacular fireworks displays and high-quality fireworks products. Proudly Tasmanian owned and operated, what started as a small idea driven by passion has grown into something much bigger but with a simple goal: to bring affordable, exciting, and safe fireworks to more people across our beautiful island. Though we're a new name in the industry, our passion for pyrotechnics runs deep. After years in the making, Spark Fireworks was built to serve communities big and small, from Hobart to Launceston, Devonport to Burnie, and everywhere in between, including the East Coast, West Coast, Huon Valley, Midlands, and North West.

Meet the family behind the magic
At the heart of Spark Fireworks is founder Josh Simmons, whose passion for pyrotechnics and community shines through every display. With years of hands-on experience, Josh saw a huge gap in Tasmania’s fireworks industry, the majority of providers were based on the mainland, making displays costly and often out of reach for many local events.
Spark Fireworks was born to change that. By being a proudly Tasmanian-owned and family-run business, we're trying to make fireworks more affordable and accessible, so more people across the state can enjoy the magic of a professional display.
Josh’s vision is simple: to bring communities together and create unforgettable moments through breathtaking displays, whether it’s a festival, sporting event, or community celebration.
Supported every step of the way by his wife and two boys, Spark Fireworks is built on values of family, connection, and celebrating life’s milestones with loved ones close by.
